Brewing Methods
Espresso
Brew Ratio - 1:2.5
Grind Size - Fine
Brew Time - 28 to 30 Seconds
Method:
1. Clean basket and purge group head.
2. Grind, weight and tamp coffee.
3. Pull single or double shot and weigh the yield.
4. Add heated milk plus steam/foam if required.
Pour over / Filter Coffee
Brew Ratio - 1:6
Grind Size - Medium
Brew Time - 5 Minutes
Method:
1. Fill the water reservoir.
2. Measure and grind coffee (54g per 4 US Cups).
3. Place filter in coffee basket and add grinds.
4. Brew coffee for - 5 Mins and serve.
Moka Pot
Brew Ratio - 1:7
Grind Size - Fine
Brew Time - 6 minutes
Method:
1. Add untamped coffee to middle chamber.
2. Add water in bottom chamber, screw together.
3. Brew at a medium-high heat for - 4 mins.
4. Stop brewing when spluttering and serve.
AeroPress
Brew Ratio - 1:15
Grind Size - Fine
Brew Time - 2 mins 15 seconds
Method:
1. Add and level grounds in chamber.
2. Add water to bloom, stir to saturation.
3. Add all the wate, put plunger in chamber and pull slowly.
4. allow to sit until 1.45 and then pull ( 30 seconds )
French Press
Brew Ratio - 1:16
Grind Size - Coarse
Brew Time - 4 minutes
Method:
1. Add all coffee and water.
2. Plunge after 2 mins to immerse grounds
3. Allow to settle for 2 mins.
4. Skim top for grounds and oils, then enjoy.
Cold Brew
Brew Ratio - 1:5
Grind Size - Course
Brew Time - 12 to 24 Hours
Method:
1. Coarsely grind the coffee.
2. Combine the ground coffee and water.
3. Let the coffee steep overnight for 12-18 hrs.
4. Strain the coffee and chill before serving.
